Confused

I saw this Cardinal a swamp area, but the yellow breast and red under the tail I have never seen before. Winter plumage or maybe something they are eating in that area?.

Perhaps its just a young one (first year).

I had two here this morning that look very similiar, plus a bright red male. I have never had 3 at my place at the same time before. Nice shot!

Maybe its a winter malt, My back yard is full of Cardinals (the usual color) so there is a lot of fighting going on between them. I also saw Red Wing Blackbirds but there red bar was yellow. I told a birder about it and she said I was wrong...no such thing. I will sort through my photos from the weekend I think I got a shot.
