While up in NE AZ getting the shots of the Virginia Rail and Sora posted earlier I got this Black Phoebe.
I saw some Eastern Phoebe posted and remembered I shot this guy too.
Im sad about the dead flowers but I'll take a Phoebe anyday.

As always, taken with my old junky 7d and 100-400L that is 12 years old.

Very pretty, Jeremy, both the bird and the surroundings. And like someone recently said about photographing a phoebe, "Anyone who gets one is skillful and not just lucky (typically)." :)
