I'm looking to add some additional speedlights to my wedding kit for reception/formal shots. My thought was to buy the YN560-TX + YN560EX III Kit to use with my 580ex ii.

Question is:

Can I put the 580EX II in my hotshoe and connect the PC port to the YN560TX? What's the best way to make use of my 580EXII on camera for ETTL and the YN560s for some global lighting?

Is it worth swapping out the 580ex ii for 3 - YN565 to make the whole triggering scheme simpler?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

As far as I know (could be wrong) the PC port on the 580EXII is an input only.

The pc port on the 580 is in only. Its more expensive but I would look st the yn622c triggers with an eye toward upgrading you speedlitds.
