i'm pretty interested in matt finished prints. anything to add about that?

i'm ready to take the plunge.

actually, another question i have is, with a canon 10D would it be reasonable to expect decent results from upsizing an image to 12x18 and printing it out on the r2400?

nothing to complain about on the R2400. But normal usage is for 11x14. 7800 is for larger prints. But never seen any banding problems.
