Levina, I like the ripples...and what a great view you must have.

Here are a few parallels.

Great posts, everyone. I don't have anything yet. I'm fighting a head cold and trying to get ready for a camping trip this weekend. Hopefully I get something over the weekend.

Slow shutter, small aperture and you get parallel light trails

I think so, too.

Parallels are everywhere. A couple I found today--

Help, I've been away and missed this week! Far to many wonderful images to comment on...I love the way people's minds are working in this thread.

I see a lot of parallels made un parallel by perspective, so in this shot I have tried to redress that, and unashamedly distorted the lines to as near parallel as I could...amazing how the eyes dislike it, too!

In a universe parallel to mine...Grove Street....

OldCrow, John, Gene, Pete, OhLook, Sibil, Richard and Sibil again, great work!! Parallels really are everywhere and you all have captured some good ones.

Cool idea, Pete!

And Richard, that shot is odd indeed. It makes me cross-eyed! Or so it feels anyway, because you're forced to see something that can't be. Quite fascinating.
