Does anyone have a direct link for Magic Lantern for the EOS-M?
Any advice to go along with it?

Thanks!

Here's the EOS-M specific thread on the ML forums: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=9741.0 (external link)

The first post has all of the information you need to install it. Go to the Nightly Builds link, select EOSM.202 and click the Download button. You need to check the current Canon firmware on your camera to make sure it's 2.0.2 (also noted in the first post w/ a link to the 2.0.2 firmware if needed). Unzip and copy the files to your SD card, pop it in the camera and do the firmware update. Restart the camera and you're ready to roll.

Actually using ML on the EOS-M puzzled me at first...I'm used to using the delete button on my 6D to pull up the ML menu...on the M, you do a two-finger tap on the screen to bring up the ML menu. Likewise, the Q button that normally takes you into submenu options is a single tap on the screen. The rest of the navigation is done using the direction pad/OK button cluster on the back of the camera.

Good luck and enjoy!

^^ btweller covered it, I think.

I've been using ML for quite a long time on a 7D and a couple of T2i's, with very good results.

Like btweller, it took me a bit to figure out how to pull up the ML menus and such on the M, as I'm still not completely used to using the touch screen, and am used to using ML on (non-touch) DSLRs.

I'm a big fan of Magic Lantern, it's a very good tool. Give it a try, and if you like it and use it - remember to go back to the site and kick 'em a few bucks.
