So after 43 replies, did you get your answer?

Yeah I'm going to explore some other options. Problem is I bought this used from a guy here, and I'm not sure my options are.

I come here for your expert opinion. Please do not hesitate to critique or edit.

You may want to try it on a full frame camera (borrow, rent) before letting it go. Every lens I have, that works on both formats, looks better on FF. I think the larger format is more forgiving. Then again, maybe my vision is just getting worse. :)

None of Canon's 35mm DSLR's have the pixel density of their APS-C cameras so when pixel peeping the images from the larger sensors will look sharper

I sorta skimmed over the pages of bickering and just want to add this... My Rokinon has a distance scale that I can only assume is for decorative purposes.

What I have yet to see in all the endless discussion about this lens is a method to calibrate the distance scale and infinity stop.

you could always just sell it for what you paid for it...you'll be out shipping costs, but think of it as the price to rent the lens for a bit

That is true (the not established part, maybe not the look fine part). But one believes it if one is selling it. Anyway, up to the seller. I would disclose.

Maybe I need a different thread for what should I do now, but I bought it used from a guy here on POTN. It came in excellent shape original box and papers etc. Is there someway I could get purchase info from him and send it in as a warranty repair?

Methinks I need to ask this question before this thread dies completely :) I don't completely understand the physics, but understand the concept of HF, DOF, and the 6" to 10,000' enough to use it with my regular lenses (24-70, 24-105).

My question is a little off topic, but about something I understand less about; do tilt/shift lenses work the same way or does the physics of a T/S lens actually allow the exact same focus for the entire image rather than the 'infinitely thin plane of truly being in focus, and everything else is some degree less than that' (which we have decided is nit-picky) of a regular lens using HF calculations?

This is more than just a little off-topic. If you can't find what you need in a search (you should be able to without too much work), I would start a new topic because it may bleed in to other T/S concerns.
