Nov 14, 2014 05:12 | #7 bettyn wrote in post #17270636 Thank you. Used it with my 7D in this shot. Have noticed the lens tends to hunt if I'm shooting a subject in a darker area. However, my 400L f5.6 also does this so I don't think it's an unusual problem with the camera or lens. The Tammy is a perfect length for the area I'm shooting (across a small canal). Am generally pleased with the results I've gotten so far, especially when I keep the lens at about f8. Image quality degrades a little at f6.3 and above ISO 800. Hope that answers your question. Pretty happy with this lens so far. Thank you very much Betty. Canon R6 II, RF 800mm.

You have to know what you're looking for. Nature does a good job protecting these youngsters until they mature. Nov 14, 2014 19:08 | #11 jhayesvw wrote in post #17271840 Pretty shot Betty and thanks for the Tamron info. Ive been contemplating changing from the 100-400 to either the V2, the Tamron or the new Sigma. You're welcome. Am interested in seeing how the Sigma compares to the Tamron. Think that lens might be a little heavy for me.
