I've got a question about a few promo pics from a dutch EDM group

Are these photos taken like that by lighting or is it (aside from the effects in the eyes/sunglasses) all editing?

They are composites, but thry are lit to go with the effect

The backgrounds are digital, as are the effects in the eyes, reflections in the sunglasses, etc.

Yeah that part I got, I mean the overall lighting of the subjects. Any ideas on how many/what kind of lights?
