Used 1dX

My local favourite photo shop has a used 1Dx with a shutter count of 2500 for sale at £3999.

Is this a reasonable price or over the top?

Also, is it likely to be replaced any time soon?

Wow that is almost what is you can get a new one for at lease in the US you can.

That's a bit more than I paid for a new one in November 2013.

Richard - At around £445 cheaper than a brand new one, it's a difficult decision as the shutter count is quite low. The shop I assume you are referring too (CC?) does seem to price s/h stock quite high (IMO) but they seem to sell it.
At least you do get a 6 month warranty with them.
