YN560-TX + YN560III

Anyone use this combo with four or more YN560III's? At times I'm finding myself needing four and wish I had a fifth flash. Just wondering how reliable they are trigger wise. This would make my workflow so much faster once setup without needing to adjust 3+ flash back and forth.

I've only done it with 2 but since it is radio based I can't imagine that it would make any difference at all. it isn't like the signal moves from flash to flash

Ya I only bought the 560YNIII's recently (have two 560II's) and didn't realize this transmitter would solve my problem needing to control four or more flash without using bunch of receivers. I just never really read it since YN-622C-TX seems popular but can only control up to three from what I'm reading.

That 3 limit maybe groups vs flashes. If you have multiple flashes in a group, the sky is the limit.

Ya I need to be able to individually adjust the output of each flash on the fly.

The 560TX supports 6 groups.

Yep, there's a second page for groups 4-6.

I also only use it with two III's (like others I still have II's that I use with them), but works great.

Using 560-tx with 2 560III.
Working perfect, don`t think there will be any problems using 5 of them.
Once U get used to the controls of the trigger, things are brilliant with it.
Only thing will be to remember which 560 is under which group and number...

Ya this is where I'll need to color code the flash

I have letters taped to mine so I can keep them straight.

No issues with 4 x 560III (in same group and in 4 separate groups, really easy to change) and adding 2 Canon flashes via 2 x 603IIs, as manual flashes. The group letter does show up on lcd screen, it is small, but works, though I will also externally ID when needed with masking tape and a sharpie.

I've got 5 of the 560III's (with a 560 IV on the way), and the multiple groups work great. I'll admit, I get the occasional unlit or partially lit frame, but overall, no issues!

Can you follow up and let us know how the 560IV goes? $10 more for basically 1/2 a YN560-TX built into a YN560III all in one vs the flash without tranceiver seems like a no brainer. If so, the OP should maybe consider getting two of the mark IV (one for on camera fill and still controlling the other off camera)

One more request. Can you use the 560TX on one body and the mkIV on another body and share the mkIIIs?
