Spotted by my son at the end of our afternoon walk out with the dogs. Saw it hunting over reeds, then it decided to head back towards me. Couldn't quite believe the look it gave as it flew past me :-)

Thanks for the comments all. It was a truly magical (& lucky) encounter.

This has ended up in Flickr Explored yesterday & has ended up with in excess of 8000 views. I had to turn my Flickr notification on my phone to silent as it was driving me mad yesterday :-)
