Verify the maximum amount of RAM your laptop can support. - How many slots are available? - What is the maximum amount of RAM supported by the motherboard? Verify your version of windows will support the upgraded RAM. Verify it here (Im assuming your running windows): http://msdn.microsoft.com …op/aa366778(v=vs.85).aspx I'm good to go. It's a 16 month old win7Pro machine supports 32Gig, comes with 8, 4 slots. Would you like to buy a vowel?

Nov 17, 2014 14:32 | #11 any issues with mixing memory. I remember in the old days it was prudent to match the mfr in the machine. Would you like to buy a vowel?

Then based on your comment, I assume that you are running the 64bit version of Win7 correct? It's not as common anymore but you can still run into issues with mixed RAM. 5D MkII Gripped | 7D MkII Gripped | 200 f/2.8L | 17-40 f/4L | Σ 24-105 OS f/4 Art | Σ 50 f/1.4 Art | Σ 150-600 OS f/5-6.3 C | 430EX II
