I bought a generic cut-it-yourself lcd screen protector from Walmart recently, and it is awful. It makes the playback so grainy that I can't even tell if my picture is in focus. Are there any stick-on protectors that are clearer?

I have had a T3 for a couple years now and it has gone all over the place from the beach to the mountains and stuffed into all sorts of bags. I have never had a protector on the screen and its still like new (and I am not kind to my gear).
