Has anyone here bought one of those grey market 1Dx models off of ebay via CPW? If so, how did the transaction go and do you regret not buying the USA model?

Thanks!

I haven't gotten a 1Dx, but did get a 5Diii. No regrets at all. Perfectly smooth transaction and no differences in camera. For the savings, I would do it all over again.

I ordered this one (external link) one week ago from bigvalueinc while the "sale price" was $4799.99.

I received the camera last Thursday(I was very satisfied with the shipping speed). Everything was pretty much as I expected. There was no warranty card and the instructions manuals that come with the non-grey market bodies were combined into one thick obviously reprinted manual.

I've had the camera for less than a week so it's no surprise that I haven't had any problems yet. Of course I don't expect to either.

With a feedback score of nearly 75000 and over 99% positive, I didn't consider the purchase that high of a risk.

Considering the price was cheaper than most used bodies that would also lack a warranty, I'm very happy with my decision.
