Not something we get to see everyday here in Boise. I was photographing a Black-capped Chickadee when I noticed a little brown bird in the bush in front of me. Couldn't get a clear enough view to identify it. A little while longer and it popped out enough for a good view and a photo. This is only the 3rd wtsp I have seen around here.

Thanks. I used the Tamron 150-600. exif data in flickr is incorrect due to Apple Aperture.

That's kind of what I thought.

How do you like that lens?

I love it. Best $1,100 I ever spent. The VC works pretty well, but lately I have been using a tripod in the case of this photo. If the terrain allows I like to carry the tripod in and just stop and wait for something to happen. I think it's plenty sharp and the reach is really nice to have for birding. I can't afford a 400 f/2.8 and a nice 1.4tc. So I have been really happy with the results of this lens.
