I assume mostly shot fairly rapidly, possibly in servo mode? Motor drive and/or single shot?

I've gotten ~9500 shots out a single battery and there are others who have gotten 11K-12K out of a single battery. All was shot fairly quickly (single shot all the way up to 12fps) and mostly in servo. Shot slowly or in small batches, the new firmware is very power inefficient.

AI Servo for sure. Probably 2/3 of them are 3-5 shot bursts while panning and the rest single snaps. Over the course of a 10 hour day.

For reference, this is the exact type of battery performance I would get from my 1D4 under the same shooting conditions. So from my perspective the battery (pair obviously) is just as good as a 1D4.

Yeah, but the batteries on a 1Dx ain't cheap! And when it chews through batteries, one takes notice really quickly, especially when the cause was a firmware issue and not the battery!
