Nov 20, 2014 15:44 | #17 I've owned all three of these models (XSi, 40D & 7D) before I upgraded to 5DIII and 1DIII, and I think you've made the right choice. All three good cameras, but if one has to go - it's the XSi. All I want is just a little more than I'll ever have.

I buy with the intention of selling but somehow cant never bring myself to do so. If you can afford to do so keep them all if not keep the 40D. My body arsenal right now consists of a 3Ti,(2) 50D's,60D,70D,7D,and (2) 5Dc's and I'm thinking about a 7DII but right now that wont be a bargain. You could sell all your extra bodies except the 60D or 70D and have a good chunk of change to put towards the 7D2. For me it isn't worth keeping something to let its value drop and not get anything for it. Especially if I am not using it. I us my 5D2 and so I keep it. I wasn't using the 1D3 and XSi, so I sold or traded them. Otherwise the 1D3 would be worth $800 now, not $1100 when I sold it. 5D4 | 8-15L | 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS | 24L II | 40mm pancake | 100L IS | 70-200mm f/2.8L IS mk2 | 400mm f/4 DO IS
