Another great set!

Will she sit for you to take pictures??? My 2 and 3 year old girls have not taught me a thing about portraits photography. Action and candid photography, yes. But when they see the camera, it's a game to see how quick they can block my shot.

You do excellent work.

She sometimes does. I can get her to sit still, but a lot of the time she doesn't want to look at the camera or smile. She kind of wants to do her own thing a lot of the time. Some days are easier than others. There are some days when I cannot get anything because she's not interested, and others where I can get shots like these.

This is not a comment about your photos (which are excellent), just prompted by your comment quoted.

My favourite photos of my kids are when they don't know that I'm taking their photo. Don't get me wrong, I like the portraits when they are looking at me, but there is something about a nice candid ...

Cheers, Damien

I really like the colours and overall processing.

2 things I might try and do:
- there are flying hairs on the right side of her head (camera left) that are easily cleaned up (they show because the colour of the tree in the background)
- this second one is a maybe but her lower eyelids look not quite right, maybe that is how they naturally look, maybe it is the shadows, maybe it was the processing - but when you zoom it they look swollen

another great picture

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.
