believe it or not, you can take tack sharp images with the 135L @ 1/20th on the A7Rii - and the 135L is laser fast focusing also

What adapter are you using?

I don't know about the person quoted...but I use the Metabones IVT...works pretty good, and the images are tack sharp.

Both the Metabones and the mc11

I prefer the mc11 because it is a tighter fit when using heavier lenses

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Beautifully done! The depth of field is perfect, the model and the bench she's sitting on are sharp! Lighting is wonderful too.

Jin Wu, which camera did you use? The 6D takes high ISO in stride. ;)

I went to look at the image on your Flickr page but it was private, FWIW.

Yes, the 6D is pretty good at handling ISO and I knew that. I of course traditionally stayed on the lower side of ISO because there was a sense of need to preserve the IQ. Recently though, I've changed my thought process and decided to go to the more important variable of shutter speed, especially when the subject moves so fast(my son is always running around).

Yeah with these cameras these days, I don't even think muck about ISO as I did in the past. The integrity of the images remain in tact at higher ISOs pretty much with many of Canon's offerings.

6D
135L @ F/2

I don't remember other settings. lol. Also seems like I added a bit too much magenta in post.

Just did a selfie with the MC11 adapter between Canon 135 and Sony a7S. AF works.

Full image, color corrected, at least to my taste. And the crop from the original with some editing. AF with Sigma MC11 does work well in low light.
