I agree but I also think closing up just a bit more would have brought everything in focus while still showing the depth. 6D

No regrets at all. I primarily used my 70-200 for motorsports work and then transitioned more to portrait/wedding/event work. I wasn't using the 70-200 as much, was mostly using my 85 for the faster aperture and bokeh. I took a chance on the 135L and I use it all the time whereas my 70-200 would have been collecting dust. I like the size and weight of the 135 more and also prefer the black lens to the white - the white gets you unwanted attention when you are trying to get candids at events. The 135 takes up less space in the bag, so I take it with me more often and can pack it in my sling bag instead of bringing the whole backpack. It's my most used lens and creates photos that people are more drawn to. I do miss the IS, but I think it's worth it for what you gain. 2 6D - 35 f1.4L, 135 f2L, 50 f1.8 STM, 85 f1.8
