These two really need no further introduction, but for those of you who don't know them.. Alice Cooper and Nita Strauss from a concert i shot with them both a couple of days ago.

I think you shot this shortly after he rediscovered a forgotten Andy Warhol painting he had absent-mindedly left in storage. He appears to be taking the windfall in stride. ;-)a

CheleA: Haha! yeah he does look a bit like Darth Vader :D thanks!

PineBomb: Actually they are shot just days after he discovered his forgotten artwork at the storage locker. :)

135mm @ f/4 on Ilford Delta 100 pushed to 200. Developed in TMax developer. I might make a print of it next time I'm in the darkroom. For now a scan will have to do.
strobe in a softbox from camera upper left.

Digital, film, whatever. Still my favorite lens :) 85 f/1.2 is a close second.

I'm gearing up for a few dog shoots that I'm hoping to do completely on film. I have a bunch of Portra sitting in the fridge waiting for some gigs!

I think you're causing us to all fall in love with this little girl. This is a beautiful shot.

Emmylou Harris from her concert last night at Liseberg amusementpark in Gothenburg, Sweden. She was perhaps not the most exciting and lively artist i shot so far, but here she is anyways. :)

Beautiful photo! I've seen her in concert several times and it's too bad her voice isn't what it used to be. Such a good artist, though.

Thanks! yeah she should probably put her guitar in storage and just enjoy retirement now, the concert was not all that good. The reviews have been poor and only her hardcore fans enjoyed the concert. I posted two closeup shots in the teleconverter/lens thread if you want to see her closer in full detail with every wrinkle visible. :)

love love love this lens!
Another from the pet session the other day. This same guy can now be seen in several threads :)

EDIT: wow, this site really amps up the saturation... the source file is not nearly as saturated!

The color profile for this image is aRGB. Most likely the difference is due to the color profiles. Either the source is set up to see a different profile or your browser is viewing a different profile.

It is saturated but I am using Firefox with it configured to view aRGB as aRGB. Only problem I am browsing in sRBG because I don't have my editing monitor hooked up while I am just browsing. So on my laptop monitor I am viewing a aRGB image on an sRBG monitor and am not seeing it the way it should be either.

If that makes since...

Edit: I hooked up the monitor that is over 99% aRGB. It looked over saturated on it as well. When I changed the monitor profile to sRGB, the saturation looked correct. It appears you need to change the profile the image is saved in to sRGB.

Hmmm ... well that is quite complicated (although probably completely true :-).

I would just say that my monitor seems to be OK and is certainly consistent. And this image seems very oversaturated to me compared to SOOC for the same lens and my own 5Div.

It's not your monitor he's saying is at fault. Convert your images to sRGB for them to display correctly in browsers :-)
