Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

It's clear that it's not as smooth as the skin on her face. Also, they're two different colors, irrelevant of their level of exposure. One is clearly tanner than the other. I think the look of one being "tanner" than the other is due to exposure levels from the natural light source. Looking at the hands and face again, there are numerous tones (colors) - many of which match the tones of the face. Regardless, it's another great image from Daniel and I hope the discussion in no way takes away from that. - Ken

You know, I don't really see that difference in colour in the original RAW file. I agree that the subject's facial complexion is super smooth ... but that isn't due to heavy processing. David.

Dankata Cream of the Crop More info | Sep 25, 2017 13:56 | #3250 I really don't take anything personally, I've been around for quite some time but I often learn from comments on my photos. I just couldn't agree with this one, as I know I didn't process her skin much. Here's another shot with heavier crop Image hosted by forum (878021) © Dankata [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. -Daniel-
