curious to know if anyone has actually used this lens exclusively on their camera. I have a friend who told me that for over a year he used this lens on a full frame for everything. landscape people portrait animals, everything. I love this lens but not sure it could cover everything for me :-D

I think we all have tried.

I could not. It's too long for "everything."

Very best,

I have the Metabones IV-T. Eye AF on the a9 works amazingly good...it is much improved over the 7r2...a recent update to the FW on the adapter should allow eye af to work better on the r2, I just have not tested it...will do that.

QUOTED IMAGE

It's a very nice shot of the couple. However, you might want to clean up the background, the green blub in left and the public bathroom on the left should be taken out.

Adorable kids. Over exposed by half a stop?

At least a half stop! :)
I tend to shoot everything 1/2 to full stop over when in shady areas (This was in the shadow of a large mountain in a meadow)

It's a great lens but the focal length is a little to tight to cover everything (for me). I'd still need the 35L and 85L.
