It was a cold, relatively clear, early morning and I knew that the storm that passed had put several feet of new snow on the San Gabriel Mountains... Add the scenic downtown LA skyline in the foreground and you can surely bet you can capture something wonderfully... There was some 'morning atmospheric dew' in-between the mountains and the skyline, but I think that added some depth to the overall capture... 1DX + 135L + Lee 105mm CPL filter + Lee 0.6 and 0.9 Soft Edge GND Filter (stacked)...
