F2.8 (yea, it is possible)

Icelandic autumn, it was cold but the 10 year old model was a trooper!

Gouf: Very nice image only if you can crop that body part below the water as the clear water and refraction angle has untoward effect on your otherwise great image.

Nonnit: Autumn could not be shown/utilized any better. Fantastic.

Lovely work. Did you shoot with an ND? Also what size is the Godox octa and how do you rate it in terms of setup quality etc. I'm looking for a more portable solution as my deep octa is a hassle on location and the Westcott rapid box is too small doesn't give the light quality I'm after.

This was actually a self family portrait and likely the best one we've done (which is an accomplishment if you have an active 2 year old)!

The Godox Witstro 360 can do HSS (at reduced power just like speedlights, so about 1/4 of the normal 300 w/s).

I am using Bowens type speedring from Godox that can also use ezybox softboxes (Godox has some of those too), the speedrings can also hold speedlight.

The octa is 35" and the quality seems fine, this is the type with stiff rods so it is not easy to disassemble/assemble, I just toss it assembled in the back of the car.

Wow, Kenny, that's quite fantastic. Were you up all night? I got up at 3:30 but the clouds had come in so nothing to see here. I was quite relieved in a way as it was cold and I was half asleep!

Hi Annie, thank you! No way, this was captured around 7:30pm or so... I genuinely didn't even know about the super-blood-moon but happened to be in the right place at the right time. Honestly I couldn't have woken up that early, so you're my hero!

saw some of your 135 and 85L stuff on FB - nicely done

the weird thing about this one is the distortion effect the water is creating in terms of shrinking her lower body which is too bad because the rest of the photo is great - PS liquify might help if done correctly - otherwise a tighter crop

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.
