Yes, look for "Import Old Subscription" when you scroll down in the Followed Threads section. ;-)a

Am I the only one that isn't getting email notifications when a new post is made?

That actually did not work for me. There were many threads that I know for sure I was subscribed to that did not pop up in the FYEO "import". I had to go looking. This said, I'm sure I was doing something wrong. Heck, I'm WAY to dense to even use the "search" function on the new forum!

Probably not (something you did wrong, that is). Had the same thing happen but the threads that weren't on my import list were all lens sample threads like this one. Had to add them manually too. No big. ;-)a

I'm on the fence between this & the 70-200 f/4 IS USM.

I know the zoom is more versatile but the 135 is right in the middle :D

I could crop the 135mm to look like a 200mm, but I could also crop the zoom to look like a 300mm, not sure if I could do it with the prime :p

I got both. The 70-200, as great as it is, rarely comes out to play. The 135L is my go to lens for portraits. The zoom is reserved for the few times I need extra reach. Throw a 1.4x on the 135 and you hsve a 200.28.

Horses for courses, I would think?

I have the 70-200 F4 and it is my standard goto hiking telephoto lens. The 70-200 F2.8 (I don't have the 135/2) is what I use when I need the F2.8, so basically family/portrait stuff, etc. and I am not going to lugging it around for hours on end.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Dude, the two lenses in question are COMPLETELY different tools…end of story. Decide which of the two you want to buy first. BTW, whatever happened to your dilemma between 24 & 35mm prime? I offered my two cents on that topic and you kinda split without reply! -?
