What are your camera settings (in external flash control menu) for Av mode?

Are you shooting in Av?

"DAZNOTE: It’s important that when shooting in Auto mode your camera, at least Canon cameras, be set to Aperture Priority. This is the only Auto mode that works for High Speed Flash Sync"

For users of YN622's and the TX controller:

Ran into a new problem. When I use my TX controller on my 5diii, it seems to choose not to fire the strobe when I go above sync speed. I'm hyper-syncing studio strobes, which I've attached a 622c. I've never had issues with my 70D, only now with the 5diii. If I trigger with a 622 instead of the TX, it fires no problem over sync speed.

I've put the TX in HSS. The indicator light blinks red on the TX when I hit the shutter, it just doesn't seem to communicate with the 622's. If I go under sync speed, it fires consistently. When I go over sync, it DOES NOT FIRE. Please no lessons on sync speed

It seems to be a settings issue. Hope someone can shed some light! I've tried fresh batteries, cleaning contacts, etc. Something is making it choose not to fire when I get above sync speed...

Fortunately for this lazy worker I wasn't the owner, a customer, a shoplifter...

I loved it. My favourite line was when Al learned he could make money giving blood which he did about 6 times a day. He was in a pool hall drinking beer and almost passing out. "The brain doesn't need blood, you just have to keep it wet".

I always got a chuckle out of his returning home after the day at work, and Peg would call out "Hi Al, miss me?"...and he would utter under his breath his reply of "with every shot so far".
