I totally forgot to turn off the IS on a tripod. Why 10 seconds? Just for fun. I wanted the second hand to be "multiplied" the way it is in the shot. I could have done 3-5 seconds but also wanted a very low ISO :) I will keep experimenting.

assuming the watch is on a very stable platform/table-top, then turn off IS and the images should clean up nice and sharp.

Shot my son's watch and had a hard time getting it really sharp in focus. Mirror lock up and tripod didn't help much. Puzzled

Renata, it does look a little fuzzy. Are you sure it wasn't a slight blur caused by it ticking/hand movement? How was it supported?

EDIT: Didn't realize there had been some responses already. I think on this lens IS can be a factor too.

Another one - from tonight. This weather can't hold for much longer! This was out of the office window while I was on the phone to a client. I don't think they suspected anything!

Love this, imho composition is perfect as is processing. The buildings just seem to blend into each other, in a good way. Do you like it enough to get it printed?

Monkey Moss, nice images from the zoo. Love the lion portrait.

I don't print any of my shots - need to upgrade my house for more wall space!

Thank you. Felt weird taking his picture though, sad to see a creature like like behind bars.

After looking at some of your Flickr images that's a real shame. You definitely need more walls!
