Close. It is actually Swayambhunath (AKA 'Monkey Temple') which is west of Kathmandu City. Nearly identical from that angle though. Slides, eh? I still don't know what to do with my analog stuff. I just dread the thought of going through it all.

You're right, it is the other place. I can't remember the names that well anymore.
Yes, slides, over 15,000 of them from my trips spanning from the early seventies to even the early 2000. I went digital only 12 years ago. When I think about the cost of converting my slides to digital files, I get a headache. And the 15,000 aren't just anything; I'v weeded them out and only kept the best ones...at least in my view :)
