I can't remember the names that well anymore. Yes, slides, over 15,000 of them from my trips spanning from the early seventies to even the early 2000. I went digital only 12 years ago. When I think about the cost of converting my slides to digital files, I get a headache. And the 15,000 aren't just anything; I'v weeded them out and only kept the best ones...at least in my view ![]() I hear you for sure. I went digital in 2005 and my analog collection is huge. I think about the effort and cost as well but I also wonder if I'd really put any converted files to use. Even with my digital collection I'm more interested in what I'm doing now than what I was doing years ago. It might be interesting to convert my analog stuff but to what end? itsallart Cream of the Crop More info | I hear you... I am almost inclined to leave them as they are and once in a while my kids would say: OK mom, let's do South America or Asia, so I drag out my slide projector out and we spend a few hours watching them. Obviously there is always my narrative to go with the slides and we have a blast. In the meantime my kids have visited some of the continents/countries and we talk, laugh etc. So far the slides haven't lost the brilliant colors (some are 40 years old) but they may one day. Eventually, I will depart this planet. The kids may say that the places don't look like that anymore. Well, we know they don't after comparing some shots from various places Renata
