Having said that there is no quantifiable measure for what level of rain the camera will resist and if it fails due to water damage that won't be repaired under warranty. The camera is not water-proof, only resistant. I would suggest buying some of those cheap plastic bag camera covers that slip over the camera/lens. I'm a cheapskate and have popped my 5d3 into a ziplock bag with holes in strategic places and it worked like a dream in the rain Renata
