It's the auto-focus system that I was constantly struggling with. The Mark III is so much more responsive and accurate, it was worth the upgrade for that alone. And I'll probably be in the minority, but I like the heavier, more durable feel.

Plus, I'd like to "train" myself using a pro-level camera.

I've been playing with Sony and E mount glass a lot lately. Decided to take the 5D3 and Sigma 35A out for a walk today. I just love the colors of Canon and the rendering of Sigma Art glass. Looks I just have to remain with both systems. I just can't decide.

As for Sony, I also tried that system for about a year. It has a lot going for it, but in the end Canon's colors drove me back here.
