This guy had been relaxing on my deck railing, so I put the 70-300 on and opened the door to shoot... and as soon as I crouched and AFed he bolted. Which turned out to make a pretty cool shot, but I wish I'd pushed the ISO more to get my SS up if I'd known he'd be moving.

My scaly little buddy was feeling brave today and let me get way closer than before. I should have come from a little higher for the first one.

Edit: And by "first" I mean "second", because it switched the order when I re-upped it after realizing it needed a bit of exposure boost.

Love the second one 'but' personally I think dropping the exposure a little / boosting the blacks a tiny bit would help to bring him out a bit more.

REALLY hope you don't mind, I did a very quick n dirty edit off a screen grab - I will remove it if you want me to, just say and it's done.
