Love the second one 'but' personally I think dropping the exposure a little / boosting the blacks a tiny bit would help to bring him out a bit more.

REALLY hope you don't mind, I did a very quick n dirty edit off a screen grab - I will remove it if you want me to, just say and it's done.

I've just picked up a second hand 5D mk III last week and I'm blown away with it's clean ISO capabilities. I haven't even started to figure out the AF system yet, I'm leaving that for this week!

Here's one of the first few shots of my youngest at a party yesterday.

5D mk III, Tamron 28-75 @ 75mm, f5.6, 1/80 and ISO 2500.
