Sunday saw "The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride" come to Southend-on-sea Essex for the first time, wife and I were asked if we could capture the day for them and we had a real blast (makes me miss the bikes. . . . almost) Couple of shots I like

A solitary RAAF EA-18G Growler during a practice flyover Brisbane today in preparation for the main Riverfire Festival flyover scheduled for the next day (Sat 30th Sept 2017). Unlike 2016 when there were 2 F/A-18F’s for the practice run, this year we were limited to a single EA-18G.

It was stinkin’ hot by the Brisbane River today, with temps around 37C/98F. The skies were somewhat milky from the heat haze. To help punch through the haze, these were processed with some of the Topaz and Nik Plug Ins to lift the detail and contrast.
