Search Forum shows up blank

If I try and use the search Forum feature, I get dropdowns, but can't seem to write in them any longer.

Big brother (Google) should be able to help you out here.

Just type whatever you want to search, on Google, and enter

site:photography-on-the.net
at the end. You only get results from this forum. ;)

That isn't really the point though. Why is something that was working, now not working the way it was before ?
I used to have a box with lines to put what I wanted to look up and what part of the forums to look it up in.
Now I get the same box with a greyed out line up the top and nothing underneath. So no where to actually input anything.
