Wacom pressure

I'm using the Intuos 5 in Ps. When I try to clone, unlike my old mouse which would transfer 100% opacity, the pen transfers only about 50%, no matter how hard I press on the tablet.

If I "dot" the area I want to clone to, then I get 100% with each touch of the pen.

Is there a way to get 100% by simply drawing without dotting?

I'm thinking about a tablet and I found this video a great introduction. I'm almost sure there was something about a non-intuitive combination of settings keeping you from doing something "easy". (Flow vs opacity?)

No idea. I looked at all my settings and I couldn't find anything that would cause that.

I figured it out by playing around after watching the Youtube video and reading the above tutorial. It all has to do with one single button...the "Opacity" button on the upper horizontal tool bar. When you want to clone and that button is not pressed and the opacity reads 100%, the cloning is 100% dense and complete.

When you press that button and turn it on, the opacity now depends on pen pressure. A little and you get about 20% cloning density; press hard and you get 100%.

Not really explained anywhere, except in one quick passing referral to this button in the YT video.
