Hot on the heels of Adobe's new release, Phase One has also released an update (8.0.2) for Capture One Pro that supports the RAW files for the 7D Mark II and several other cameras as well. There are many other improvements and bug fixes, but also of note is Capture One Pro is now fully compatible with OS X Yosemite as well.

There's an existing thread in the Post-Processing forum that tracks things related to Capture One Pro, but I thought I would also mention it here since so many Canon 7D Mark II users are calling this forum home at this point in time.

It's great to see RAW support arriving for the 7D Mark II. I wonder if/when Apple will provide an update for Apple Aperture.

Cheers,
Bryan

They already have...days ago...first to release support for 7DII I might add. They can pry Aperture from my cold, dead hands! ;)

Holy cow! How did I miss that? Thanks for pointing that out! I'm still using Aperture and prefer to keep it that way until I sort out what's going to happen in the future.

Thanks for letting me know!
Bryan

We already had raw support for the 7D2, it is just now that all the 3rd party services are providing it. ;)
