A tighter crop woulda helped: there're too many elements in the frame.

Particularly, the bright sky sequesters the eye and pulls it away from the model.

I too pondered about the large degree of space above the model, certainly considering where she is cut off at the bottom of the frame, - however, there is a time to break the rules and I think this is done well here.
The muted colours in the background surround the girl well and act as a frame.
Personally, I think I would have included slightly more at the bottom (without severing at the knees) which may slightly reduce the top space; alternatively a thinner letterbox format would keep the colours and model proportioned for me.
The shadow/light on the face is just approaching the level where a fill kick may be needed, but the balance is nice and I can see white in the eyes.
Either way, a beautiful model and well executed image.


Tons of enthusiasm, loads of kit, limited skill...
