What do you suggest or use? I have the 70-200 but want to add a wide lens. Could be a prime or zoom, just want good focus capability. Thanks

I would say the 24-70 f/2.8 II. Now if you are trying to get the whole court on one shot I would look at the 16-35 f/2.8 II

You didn't mention what sensor (FF, 1.3x, 1.6x) you're shooting on. I cover basketball with full frames, and my standard kit is a 24-70, 70-200, and something long.

I have FF and 1.3. Wide lens would most often be on 1.3 I think

I'd put the 24-70 on ff then the 70-200 on the 1.3. 85 1.8 is also another good option.

For wide we use 24-70/2.8. Works well under the boards.

Here is an example of a shot I got with a 24-70 on a FF.
