Hi Jeff,

Though I love panoramas in this case I would have to go with the wide angle shot. Though they are both HDR the wide angle sunset is more pleasing than the "muddy" sky in the pano and the darker shadows are more realistic to my eye. It also looks like there are some stitching issues in the middle of the pano near to the bridge and the foliage. This could be caused by parallax issues if the lens/camera weren't positioned over the point of no parallax, this will be especially problematic with with alignments between near and far objects. I have never tried using a grad nd with a pano, I always considered it one too many things to go wrong, I may have to try it now.
