I thought these would be best enjoyed in this forum. A couple of DSLR video shorts that I've put together this year -

Snakes! - https://www.flickr.com …787570996/in/photostream/ (external link)

American Black Bear - https://www.flickr.com …/davidraymond/15229363470 (external link)

Super job Dave, I to play a bit in video but I have not found the right way to record and upload the video to get the desired delivery to the viewer. Getting the video seems to be the easy part for me. The new 7D MarkII has some very interesting choices and I can tell you it works the best of any DSLR I have used for video, focusing transition is so smooth and variable in the MarkII. my experience with video on Flickr is right about what you got from it, kinda slow and jittery. But awesome job and if you figure it out let me know. great stuff

Thanks Jeff, I think the slowness you are talking about is the video buffering from Flickr's servers. Yep, it can slow down at times, and kinda ruins video presentations.

I also upload my videos to Youtube, and sometimes Vimeo. I only have the free Vimeo account though, so they cap the storage. The buffering seems better on those sites.
