Wildlife macro season is prob over here now, temps went below 27F last night. Of course, ice and snow detail macro season is just beginning!

Spotted Orbweaver (spider) - Tamron 90mm VC macro + Canon 60D

#2 for me also

Thanks Kurt and denis! The reach of the 180mm macro lens is very useful for isolating subjects in the water. I use the 90mm more often though, so I can shoot handheld.

Thank you Bas, Frank, and Lester. Interestingly, the frog is a "new species" that was only recently recognized as such, the Atlantic Coast leopard frog.

The orbweaver capture has a lovely warm and Autumnal quality about it, however, I also love the cooler hues of the Frog shot and with the added bonus of the reflection its a winner!
