Taken in Ocean City, New Jersey. Tamron 16-300mm VC + Canon 7D, Manfrotto 055xProB tripod. I got to the beach when the sky had just turned a faint pink. The vivid red coloration appeared for less than 2 minutes, and then it was gone. Color of photo has not been enhanced.

Did you use a hardstep GND to take your image?

Only a circular polarizing filter was used for this shot. Post-processing is minimal. Thanks!

I've had similar vividness of red a few times when I used a hard step GND.
