Hey POTN! I have never purchased a refurbished camera before and about to nab the 6D. For the last few years, has Canon ever continued running sales on camera bodies like the ones they are doing now (6D for $1,300+ with tax) in December? I don't get my next paycheck for two more weeks (The final one I need to nab a 6D) and will probably miss the current deal. I don't want to get one at the normal price ($1,621 with tax) if they have been known to keep pushing deals before Christmas.

Should be able to get close to that in 2 weeks. You can also send in any canon camera (broken p&s, whatever) and get a discount off the body most times.

Buy through Canon Price Watch for $1639 and get a $300 rebate from canon. No taxes paid.

I really hope they have this deal continuing in 2 weeks when I get my last paycheck for this. *Crosses fingers*

They *should* have it as long as the current rebates run, which is towards the end of January.
