Does anyone know a Canon 270EX-II equivalent that is full-featured like the big boys? I know a smaller flash will produce less power but having auto and manual controls, full range motion, etc would be nice for travel.
Thanks all.

gonzogolf dumb remark memorialized More info | Nov 23, 2014 11:01 | #3 Why would you want an equivalent? Its cheap enough, although underpowered and doesnt rotate so its bounce capabilities are limited. Nobody seems to be copying this as its not that popular.

That Nissan i40 and Meike mk-300 looks nice (profile wise). i think everyone would like that, but the reality is that Canon doesn't make the 580/600 flashes large just to make them look substantial. It might be possible to cram all that into a smaller form factor, but the engineering and manufacturing costs would be prohibitive.
