Thinking about stay in car and taking pictures with bean bag on the car window.

Please, help me find the good bean bag for $

Shooting supply, Gun store/shop.

If nothing else - go to Wal-Mart and buy a couple of containers of BB's and a pair of big socks - one set of clamps. Fill a sock with BB's and use the clamp on the open end - after rolling it a few time of course. Instant bean bag. Also easy to adjust - in the field - for just the right "feel".

Go to the nearest grocery, purchase a bag of pinto beans. You're done. Its more durable if you double bag it. Makes good souip afterward.

This is the one I used in Africa. You can get a few varieties (green, black, etc..) for different purposes.

I went to Custer State Park in SD a couple of months ago and researched the heck out of all the available choices. Here's what I went with...

Filled it with pinto beans inside of a couple of large Ziploc bags and couldn't have been happier. I also got the V2 Plate which fits on top and am glad. Was able to mount the Wimberley head to it with no problems. Very happy with my choice. An added benefit is being able to use one of the handles to secure the bag to the armrest of the car for added protection.

Good luck and let us know what you decide on.

Bob

Best to get an 'U' shaped bean bag.It works really well. You can keep it placed on the car window and shoot.
