hey guys,
I just did my very first fitness shoot the yesterday....talk about stress and fun!
Anyway, I'm in the photo retouch mode and I can't quite figure out how to "smooth"
out the skin.
By this I mean:
- tighten it
- reduce contrast over a skin section
- keep it looking real
Screen shots from CS6:
Straight out of Camera:
After some liquify, clone, and healing stamp.
My biggest problem with the healing stamp is that it loses texture and makes the skin
look "too smooth" -- ie plasticky. The shadow on the left (her right) hand side of
her abs looks...not perfect.
quick SS of the overall look WITH the photoshops applied...relax, I didn't cut her hand off in the full image!

Suggestions? I see patchy spots I could keep working with the clone/heal brushes
but I'm wondering if a filter/mask approach might be a better way to do it?
