Hello,

I am looking to get a powerbank to charge a tablet/phone and possibly a compact camera. I have done a lot of research already mostly on amazon.com for feedback.
I am looking for at least 8000 to 10.000 mAh capacity and 2Amps charging capability devices.
Which brands/models are accepted as good devices and what is your personal experience and recommendations?

A friend of mine has a mr. Handsfree power bank. I used it once and im completely aggreeing that its the best out there. It is a bit heavy but it charges fast, comes with many different adapters and charges an iphone 6 times full

I've got a Limefuel 15600mAh one and it's been great, a lot better than the cheap nasty ones. Also there mAh ratings seem pretty accurate and not overrated. http://www.limefuel.com/pages/product-blast (external link)

They also have a rugged line as well.

I grabbed a cheapy - a Romoss Sense 4, from Ebay

It has been going well for about a year now, although i dont use it all that often, maybe once a week to top off my phone, and charge it once a month or so

My wife used it the other week to charge her phone while she was in hospital, and it worked well for 4 days, then needed a charge

Thanks for all the suggestions, learned about a few new brands I did not know about. That Limefuel model looks especially interesting with multiple ports and 2 Amps charging ability.

I have a RavPower 10k mAh battery. Does 1 and 2 amp charging. Lasts a long time. I use it weekly and it holds a charge for quite some time
